He is a highly capable and brilliant character inGenshin Impact’s story and an invaluable asset in players' teams, with great potential to deal massive damage. On the contrary, his constellations may not be as impressive but are still worth considering. This guide will outline the effects of his constellation levels to help players decide if they want to invest.
Is Getting Alhaitham Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
Most of Alhaitham’s Constellations provide an increase in DPS, mainly through Elemental Mastery buffs. In addition, he has a few constellations that offer Quality of Life (QoL) benefits, such as C1 and C6, which can help players manage their Chisel-Light Mirror generation more smoothly for a better gameplay experience. Therefore, players can consider going forC1 without needing to invest too many Primogemsfor Alhaitham.
C1 - Intuition
Alhaitham’s C1 allows his Elemental Skill’s cooldown to be drastically reduced from 18s to a much more acceptable duration of, on average, 12 seconds. This can allow players to use this skill much more frequently to generate Chisel-Light Mirrors and allow for longer Dendro infusion times for players who prefer theNormal Attack DPSplaystyle for Alhaitham. For Burst-DPS Alhaitham players, this may not be as relevant as the Elemental Burst cooldown remains the same at 18s, however, the reduced cooldown for the Elemental Skill still can present a greater convenience for players to utilize its effects.
C2 - Debate
As Alhaitham’s Projection Attacks andDendro Reactionscan both be enhanced by Elemental Mastery, this constellation could potentially provide a nice DPS boost. However, in practice, it is unlikely that players will be able to maintain three or more stacks for extended periods of time, making the increased Elemental Mastery of up to 200 not that consistent. If players are looking for an alternative source of Elemental Mastery to boost Alhaitham’s performance, they should consider investing in characters such asDionaat C6 andKazuhaat C2. These characters can provide more helpful boosts to many other teams, making the investment worthwhile.
C4 - Elucidation
Alhaitham’s C4 buff varies in usefulness depending on how players like to play him; whether it’s for a Dendro infusion normal attack playstyle or Burst-DPS. An Elemental Mastery buff can be a great complement to Alhaitham’sBurst-DPSplaystyle due to the frequent off-time, however, the additional 90 Elemental Mastery at C4 may not be worth the cost. On the other hand, the other buff allows Alhaitham to deal much more damage with up to 30% Extra Dendro DMG bonus. However, this playstyle does not typically focus on having all three Chisel-Mirror Lights active at the same time to gain an extended duration. This means players might often have a 10% Extra Dendro DMG Bonus instead.
C6 - Structuration
Alhaitham’s C6 is undoubtedly his most impressive constellation, if not one of thebest sixth-level constellationsinGenshin Impact, granting not only a massive Crit Rate and Crit DMG bonus, but also allowing players to combine both Dendro infusion and Burst-DPS play styles, providing a unique and fresh experience for Alhaitham players. Having all constellations combined gives more room to experiment during the combo play with easier Chisel-Mirror Light management to utilize them more effectively. At C6, Alhaitham can have an even smoother combo experience and deliver massive damage with an additional 70% Critical Damage Bonus.
