Star Wars: Andorhas been offering surprise after surprise to audiences since the start, but one surprise they probably weren’t expecting is an absolute banger of a club track. Episode 7 saw a later scene backed by a shockingly catchy tune, and now audiences can check it out on their own time.

Musical artist Nicholas Britell, who created the piece, just released it for the enjoyment ofStar Warsfans, and it’s still just as jarring to hear such a unique song juxtaposed with aserious-lookingAndorposter.Star Warsis no stranger to memorable one-off tunes, with the cantina song fromA New Hopestill living rent-free in the heads of many who may have only seen the movie once several decades ago. But unlike that track and the similarly addictive entry fromThe Force Awakens, this one has a decidedly modern feel to it.

Britell released the track onhis official YouTube channel. Titled “Niamos! (Morlana Club Mix),” it appears inStar Wars: AndorEpisode 7, “Announcement,” when Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor is seen wandering the boardwalk of tourist-y beach planet Niamos after the rather disastrousbig heist seen in previousAndorepisodes. While the sequence ultimately results in an unfortunate fate for Cassian himself, the initial shot of the planet combined with Britell’s pulsing track caught many viewers off-guard in the best way.

Sounding sort of like an intense nightclub as heard from outside (or perhaps from inside a fishbowl), “Niamos! (Morlana Club Mix)” seems to evoke the perfect feeling of letting off some steam while still feeling a bit on edge that’s likely going through Cassian’s mind at this point in the episode. He’d just escaped from a death-defying mission where he straight up killed one of his comrades for trying to cheat everyone else out of their cut and then went on to try to get his adoptive mother Maarva (played by the incomparable Fiona Shaw) somewhere safe only for her to turn down his offer and urge him to disappear for his own sake. If anybody needs a thrashing club track right now, it’s this guy.

The track title also includes an Easter egg reference to Morlana One, the planet seen in episode 1 ofAndorwhere Cassian attempted to find his sister in a brothel before ultimately killing two Preox-Morlana Corpos and setting off the events of the series. Morlana One definitely seems to be the sort of place where one would expect such a song to be heard in many an establishment. So that was a nice little nod.

Frankly, it’s also no surprise that Britell could craft something so worthy of playing on repeat since this is the same composer who worked on the scoresfor hits likeSuccessionandIf Beale Street Could Talk. So this clearly isn’t just a flash in the pan. But it’s definitely worth singling out.
