Animal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers have an entire island to decorate and redesign. To do so, players can acquire different items and construction options as they progress through the game. In a recent display of player creativity inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, one player showed off their recreation of Doctor Who, and that show’s memorable Weeping Angels.

This scene inAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsshould be both memorable and terrifying for those who have watched the series. The first thing to notice in this post is, of course, the blue telephone booth, which acts as theAnimal Crossingversion of the time machine in the series, the TARDIS. Right in front of this is u/Shelter1971’s character, dressed just like the current iteration of the Doctor. Their look matches Jodi Whittaker’s version of the Doctor perfectly and the outfit was acquired through a creator code u/Shelter1971 lists in the post. To the left and right of the TARDIS and the Doctor are two Valiant Statues they acquired fromRedd inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. These look similar to the terrifying Weeping Angels in the TV series that will move but only when no one is watching them.
U/Shelter1971 did well to create aDoctor Whoscene that fans should immediately recognize.Animal Crossing: New HorizonsValiant Statueswork really well here even though they can be a bit frustrating to acquire. Fortunately, those players looking to match this look shouldn’t have too much trouble since the latest update. They can continue to check in on Redd’s shop on Harv’s Island (as long as they have invested enough money to open it) to get the statues and can acquire the phone booth with Nook Miles at the Nook Stop Terminal.
InAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, players used to have a hard time filling up the section of the museum on their island that focused on art and statues before the latest update. With the option to giveRedd a shop on Harv’s island inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, players at least have the chance to check in each day for new artworks and statues.
Then again, once the art section of the museum is filled, there isn’t much else to do with it. This was the reason behind the slow progress originally in the game and kept players actively hunting Redd. But, either way, this is a great tribute to a long-running show.
