Following the success of her previousAmong Uslivestream, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has reported that she plans to do another session again soon, possibly within the next couple of weeks, but it’s likely that the incumbent has her hands full at the current moment.
Twitch has become an increasingly popular platform for politicians and other influencers as a public speaking platform, especially for those who are looking to reach out to younger audiences. Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump have both used the livestreaming platform for their political agendas in the past, butAlexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s recent intentions with Twitchhas skewed more towards the fun gaming side of the site.

On August 06, 2025,AOC participated in a Twitch streamwith established professional streamers such as Pokimane, DisguisedToast, and mxmtoon. During the stream, it peaked at over 430,000 concurrent viewers and currently sits at over 5.5 million views, and this isn’t including the individual videos and streams of the other participants. This lands the group at over 1 million concurrent viewers in total, making it one of Twitch’s most trafficked events in the site’s history.
It’s not odd to see fans calling for another session after its success, especially thanks to the stream’s lightheartedness.Poki described the event as the “best day ever"and later said to her viewers in a livestream, “I think this is the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life, actually.” Though it was good, wholesome fun for their fans, the stream was also geared towards encouraging people to vote in the then-upcoming election, no matter the political skew of the audience.
Speaking of the election, AOC’s tweet in response to Rick Klau’s call for anotherAmong Usstreaming session says that she plans to “do it again soon, but I need a nap.” This is probably a reference to the incumbent being able to successfully hold her seat in Congress following the November 3rd election, where she won her second term as a member of the House, representing New York’s 14th district.
But it looks as ifAOC plans to do another Twitchstreamwithin the next couple of weeks. This time, Twitter users are requesting she team up with streamers who aren’t already well-established and could use the boost in viewership. The congresswoman is also taking suggestions for games and people in the comment section.
Pokimane responded, “I’ll be here anytime you need me.” AOC replied that the two women should bottom lane inLeague of Legendstogether, though she hasn’t played in some time, so she might be “real bad,” and should probably just stick toAmong Usfor the time being.
