How to Get the Makarov Pistol in Atomic Heart
There are two ways of acquiring the Makarov Pistol inAtomic Heart; finding it neardead military bodiesorcrafting it using its blueprints.
Seed Fund
As far as the blueprints for the MP are concerned, players can find them in theVavilov Complex, but a little later than the first mission. There, they will need to collect the flasks of lunar oil in order to open the passage from the seed store. Next, they will have to enter the store and head right to locate thebreak room, where they will find achest containing the Makarov Pistol blueprints.
Main Hall with Birch PC-4
Players can get their hands on the MP on their very first mission, The Hot Pursuit, which requires them to visit the ventilation shaft to acquire the candle. As players pass the narrow passage, they will see a lot of tables in the office. One of those tables has a candle. They should look for another table in the opposite direction, where they will find adead military man. Look for the Makarov Pistol around the soldier, pick it up using the glove, and proceed.
Open-World
Atomic Heartpresents “A Breath of Fresh Air” as the first open-world quest, during which players can get the pistol and add it to their arsenal. For this purpose, head on the route toward thewooden buildingin the left direction.
Next comes the log building, which players need to cross in a way that its wall remains to their left. Players should keep walking until they reach the courtyard of a village.
Do not change the direction and head straight until an open barn on the left is clearly visible. There is adead soldier lying in the barn; look for the treasured Makarov Pistol around his body. If players cannot find the weapon,they can use their glovesto get the pistol flying right to them.
