Freya has lost her son, her life, and her freedom, all to Odin, and Freya’s Missing Peace side quest is where Freya finally gets to relieve some of her burden.

This is perhaps thetoughest boss fight, and Kratos and Freya must bring their all to this battle if they are to defeat the last loyalist to Odin’s dying empire. It’s a difficult and rewarding battle that has emotional stakes for Freya, as the two Valkyrie Queens have a deadly heart-to-heart.

1The Broken Prison

Lurking after the credits roll is one of the best side quests, where Kratos and Freya will explore one of Odin’s abandoned prisons that has been fractured from the destroyed Asgard. Inside the prison, players will find the victims of Odin’s manipulation and forgery, where Odin kept people locked away to disguise himself. A heartbreaking story of victims, and Odin loyalists that must be killed, this is a prison worth discovering.
Deep inside the prison is alsothe actual Aesir God of War, Tyr, who comes not as an illusion, but as the truth. Tyr harbors great importance in the series, so finally freeing him is a decent reward, especially when players can now find him in new locations, meditating with the knowledge he has from other pantheons.
