Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Waris going to kick off Season 2 on Thursday, February 25, bringing with it a ton of new content for fans of the first-person shooter to dive into. For Zombies enthusiasts, this will include the brand new open world Zombies mode called Outbreak. TheCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarZombies Outbreak mode previously leaked last week, and now it’s been officially confirmed by Activision.
TheCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarZombies Outbreak mode is described by Activision as a “large-scale Zombies experience,” which is in contrast to the smaller Zombies maps that players are typically playing on. In Outbreak, players will explore theUral Mountains in Russia, which are being overrun by zombies and other Dark Aether monstrosities. Like the standardCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarZombies mode, up to four players will be able to play Outbreak.

To better explore this massive new Zombies map,Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers will be able to take advantage of things like vehicles and jump pads. They will have a variety of objectives to complete, intel to find, and secrets to discover.Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplayers will be able to Exfil from the Outbreak mode like they can on other Zombies maps, and they will also be able to travel to theDark Aetherworld through a portal.
