UnderneathCall of Duty’s Twitter post of the Season 4 trailer featuringWarzone 2’s new Vondel map,The Boysposted an image pointing out a building in the trailer that had the show’s logo spray-painted onto it, accompanied by a Homelander meme. This promptedCall of Dutyto fire back with a Captain Price meme from 2019’sModern Warfare, hinting that a collaboration between the two is extremely likely.

It’s tough to say for sure what exactly this collaboration would entail. It’s likely that, like the other film collabs, a character or two fromThe Boyswould be added to the roster of operators. As for who, the best bet would probably be the face of the series, Homelander. This isn’t the first game Homelander is in talks of joining, as the anti-hero was included in arecent Kombat Pack leakfor the imminentMortal Kombat 1alongside other anti-hero characters such as DC’s Peacemaker and Omni Man from Amazon’s other hugely popular superhero series,Invincible. It would also make sense for otherThe Boyscharacters like Billy Butcher or Soldier Boy to be part of thisCall of Dutycollaboration as well.

WithSeason 4 ofThe Boyssupposedly aiming for later this year or early 2024, it’s fitting that the refreshingly popular non-Marvel superhero franchise is making its way into the gaming world withCall of Dutyand also allegedlyMortal Kombat 1. There wasn’t any more information provided about when The Boys will joinCall of Duty,so fans of the series will most likely have to wait until later inCall of DutySeason 4, which begins on June 14, to learn more.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
