Today, theCall of Duty MobileTwitter account posted the first teaser for season 10. Within the brief teaser, none other thanModern Warfare 2’s iconic map Terminal is announced to be coming to the game following thecurrent season ofCoD Mobilecontent.

The teaser reads “Attention passengers, Flight #83764625 is now boarding” before showing off a rain-covered image of the map. Whether the map will genuinely feature rain inCall of Duty Mobile, or if this is simply a stylistic way to obscure the image, is unclear. This could possibly be hinting that weather-based maps are the theme of season 10, but regardless, the map’s layout is a picture-perfect recreation of the original Terminal design.

Terminal was originally featured in the iconic andcontroversial campaign mission No Russianas well asModern Warfare 2’sonline modes. Since then, it has seen numerous remasters in the Infinity WardCall of Dutygames, and nowCoD Mobileis joining in on the remaster train. The map is a fan favorite due to its interesting map design and setting, so many fans will no doubt be happy to see it return.

The map has been inCall of Duty Mobilefor a few months now, as it appeared in the game’s test server around season 8. It did not really fit with theWorld War 2 theme of season 9, which is likely why the map was held back until now. This also could be a hint that the tenth season ofCall of Duty Mobilecontent will be more modern than the current season, though that cannot be confirmed until officially stated by the development team.

It will be interesting to see whatCoD Mobilebecomes in season 10, as the game’s ninth season has an interesting strategy game built in on top ofbringing back Attack of the Undead. The season 9 update made some much-needed adjustments to weapon progression. No matter where the team takes the next batch of content, though, they have a crowd-pleasing piece of content on the way with the upcoming release of Terminal.
