Earlier this week, Infinity Ward released a new update forCall of Duty: Warzonethat added a brand new shotgun to the game. However, the new JAK-12 shotgun, based on the AA-12 fromModern Warfare 2, has proven to be incredibly overpowered. And with the right loadout,Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers can make the JAK-12 evenmoreoverpowered, giving them a significant advantage over their opponents.
This latestCall of Duty: WarzoneJAK-12loadout comes courtesy of professionalCall of Dutyplayer NICKMERCS, who has built a reputation of putting together some of the absolute best loadouts in the game. Before players can put together NICKMERCS' JAK-12 loadout forCall of Duty: Warzone, though, they will first need to unlock the gun itself as well as the recommended attachments.

The best way to unlock the JAK-12 shotgun and its attachments is to hop into the standardCall of Duty: Modern Warfaremultiplayer. This will allow players to focus exclusively on completing the challenges necessary to unlock the JAK-12 shotgun, not to mention allows them to play on smaller maps where they will be able to get more kills and level up the weapon faster. When that’s done, players can useWarzone’s Gunsmith featureto create the JAK-12 shotgun loadout.

The 8-R Dragon’s Breath ammunition is definitely one of the most important parts of theoverpowered JAK-12 loadout. Not only will they help players make quick work of any unfortunate enemies they come across inWarzone, but it also lets players destroy vehicles with ease. EvenWarzone’s Juggernauts struggle against a JAK-12 with 8-R Dragon’s Breath rounds equipped, so they’re really what make the gun so overpowered.
It’s quite likely that Infinity Ward will nerf the JAK-12 shotgun in a future update, as it’s usually pretty quick to nerf weapons that are considered overpowered. Prior to the JAK-12’s dominance, theSP-R 208 marksman riflewas considered one of the most overpowered guns inWarzone. Infinity Ward has since nerfed it significantly, making the SP-R 208 far less overpowered than it was previously.
In the meantime, fans can expectNICKMERCSto continue putting outWarzoneloadout videos that highlight overpowered loadouts in the game. Even if fellowCall of Dutypros would rather he keep the information to himself.
