With frustrations continuing to build overCall of Duty: Vanguard’s divisive Zombies mode, some gamers have begun requestingupdates be given toCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warinstead. However, the most recentCall of Duty: VanguardZombies update may change this. According to an official blog post from Treyarch, which serves as an early 115 Day preview, the mid-season update is bringing a variety of new features. This appears to include a dedicated server pause, though implementation will reportedly be completed in a future update.

The post goes on to note that transferringCall of Duty: VanguardZombies to a dedicated serverinfrastructure has been rockier than expected. Once things are up and running, the gameplay will hopefully be smoother across the board for matches of all sizes. However, the process of adding a dedicated server pause for Solo and single-player Private matches is reportedly more complicated than it may seem, leading to the delay.

Theupdate to Der Anfang also includesclassic survival gameplay being added to “Shi No Numa” in the new Void Objective, the ability to level up artifacts during a match, and three new Pack-a-Punch camos available at the Pack-a-Punch machine. Additionally, the developers are adding new support weapons. Killstreak weapons can now be found in the Support menu at the Crafting Table, including the Warmachine and Deathmachine. Players can also expand their arsenals with the Combat Shield, Katana, and brand-new Welgun SMG. Several more major updates are expected to arrive later in 2022.

Call of Duty: Vanguardis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
