Call of Duty: Warzoneunsurprisingly continues to see updates after proving it’s a massive success among fans of the series. As many players know, the game recently received yet another massive30GB update for bothModern WarfareandWarzone.
While some fans are complaining about the massive size of these update files, Infinity Ward shows no signs of slowing down the content updates for bothModern WarfareandWarzone. Now, a brand new playlist update just released that adds a new classic playlist called BR Trios Classic toCall of Duty: Warzone.

As mentioned above,Call of Duty: Modern WarfareandWarzoneboth received a massive update earlier this week that was over 30GB of data in total. While many fans voiced their concerns in frustration now that the total package measures close to 200GB over all platforms. Thankfully,Infinity Ward has commented on the huge file sizethat the game amasses, showing they are at the very least aware that fans are not too happy with the amount of space the game is taking up. Still, updates continue to roll out.
Just before the massive update on May 19, the game saw a smaller playlist update in the form of limited timeclassic battle royale mode coming toWarzone. The update changed the fundamental rules ofWarzone’s battle royale mode by taking aware things like buy stations, the Gulag, and loadout care packages. While the playlist itself was labeled as a limited playlist, it seemed to be well received by many players. Now, Infinity Ward has released another content update adding a BR Trios Classic playlist toWarzone.
In the early days ofWarzone’s launch, there was a small pool of concern across battle royale fans in regard to how the game mode was structured. Mainly, that it had some fairly drastic deviations from the established battle royale formula. The classic playlists, including the new BR Trios Classic playlist inWarzone,aim to give players are more condensed and traditional battle royale experience by taking out a lot of things that setWarzoneapart, like the ability to respawn and buy perks using cash. Thankfully this update isn’t anywhere near as massive as the last. Still, players are able todelete aspects like Spec Ops and the campaignto make space if need.
It’s still impressive just how many content updates players are receiving acrossModern WarfareandWarzone. Withfree maps like the Hardhat mapcontinually being added to the game over time, along with new guns, perks, and operators it is impressive just how much Infinity Ward is putting into the game. Although, hopefully Infinity Ward does find some sort of streamlined solution to the massive file sizes of their major updates.
