Activision hosted a big blowout event forCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warthat announced tons of new information regarding the game’s multiplayer modes. Fans had a ton of questions aboutBlack Ops Cold Warbefore the event, such as what modes are available,when does theBlack Ops Cold Warbeta start, and, most importantly, how does the new game work withCall of Duty: Warzone? Luckily, fans were treated to plenty of details regarding integration between both games.
OnceCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warreleases later this year, content will spill over intoWarzone.Warzonewill feature some of the themes, weapons, and operators that are found inBlack Ops Cold War. New content will be added to the seasonal Battle Pass and Store post-launch that will be shared across bothBlack Ops Cold WarandWarzone. OnceBlack Ops Cold Warlaunches, the game will introduce a new leveling system that will later connect toWarzonewhich will allow players to unlock content in both games.

Warzoneplayers will still have access to the weapons, operators, blueprints, and so on that they’ve already unlocked throughModern Warfare. After the launch ofBlack Ops Cold War,Warzonewill simply host content from both games for players to choose from.
TheCall of Duty: Warzonemap has been dropping all kinds of hints toward Black Ops Cold Warfor weeks now, so it’ll be interesting to see how the two games will continue to weave together. During the multiplayer presentation, it was said that “both games [Black Ops Cold WarandWarzone] will share post-launch content from a narrative standpoint, interweaving the themes, locations, weapons, and vehicles ofBlack Ops Cold WarintoWarzone…” So, with that, fans can expect all kinds of new additions toWarzoneover the next few months.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warbrings all kinds of new and interesting additions to the franchise’s tried and true multiplayer formula. During the reveal event, theCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warteam showed off several vehiclesthat would be featured in different maps including jet skis, tanks, and snowmobiles. There’s no word currently on if any of these vehicles will be added toCall of Duty: Warzonebut if the map continues to change, it’s a possibility.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warlaunches November 13 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
