When other cities and city-states are converted to a player’s religion, they will also get thebenefits provided by the religion’s beliefs. This can make it enticing for non-religious civilizations to want to convert in order to get the benefits provided.

This requires taking advantage of trade routes and sometimes converting cities to the religion by force. This victory requires a lot of planning, but can catch other players off guard if they aren’t looking for it.
