Animal Crossing: New Horizonshas impressed fans of the series, newcomers, and some celebrities. Thecritically acclaimedNew Horizonshas already had several celebrity players sharing their experiences as well as organizations getting involved with the social fun. Despite some surprising celebrity islands being made in the game, many are shocked by the fact that the actor known for his tough-guy roles, Danny Trejo, has a harmonious island.
While manycelebrities have showcased images fromNew Horizons, few have given as thorough of a tour as Danny Trejo when he was playing the game with YouTuber Gary Whitta. The two players explored the island of Danny Trejo as he introduced his anamorphic islanders to Gary and pointed out his favorite spots. The video which seemed improbable also shed light on some of Trejo’s thoughts on the game as well as his preferred activities.

Danny Trejo who starred in the likes of Machete, From Dusk Till Dawn and Spy Kids, first showed Gary his beach gym which was intended to replicate Mussel Beach. Alongside gym equipment, the beach had a boom box which both players remarked was a key asset on the beach in the game and real life. Trejo also built a version of his Trejo Tacos business and took a moment to discuss his vegetarian options as well as the praise he received from the late Anthony Bourdain. The two players went on to discuss their favorite islanders inAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. It turns out that Trejo’s preferred islanders include Flo (partially because of “her bedroom eyes”) and Snake. However, Trejo claimed that he enjoyed the company of all his neighbors and did not begrudge any of them.
Whilesome players may be hungry for new content inNew Horizons, it seems that the community is still contributing plenty of entertainment. Many of the comments on this video expressed excitement at seeing Danny Trejo undertake tasks he enjoys such as fishing and butterfly collection. With this in mind, it seems thatAnimal Crossing: New Horizonscan still provide players with a fun experience, even if players are part of this content creation process.
It will be interesting to seewhatAnimal Crossingupdates bringin the future and many will hope that the new content will add even more longevity to the game. While players wait there are plenty of celebrities who are sharing their experience, although not many have done a tour as detailed and fun as the cinematic tough-guy Danny Trejo.
