Dave the Diveris a game all about a guy named Dave who needs to dive for fish and other ingredients during the day while helping to run a busy restaurant at night. In order to be successful, Dave will have to defend himself against dangerous sharks and jellyfish. In order to survive all these underwater encounters, Dave will need some heavy-duty firearms. These underwater guns are created and upgraded by a man namedDuff inDave the Diver, and he’ll need a number of materials in order to make all these special weapons. One of the materials that is hardest to find is the iron ore.
What is Iron Ore Used For in Dave the Diver?
Over theplaytime length ofDave the Diver, players will need to collect a whole slew of materials. Much like the copper ore, rope, and other underwater finds, iron ore is used to create weaponry. There are currently only three metal ore to find inDave the Diver, and these are copper, lead and the iron. It is currently only really used to make the Sniper Rifle, but it will most likely be part of creating and upgrading other guns in the future as well.

Where to Find Iron in Dave the Diver
There are several places to find a deposit of iron ore; all of these places seem to be in the 80-130 meter depth range. One good place to find some of this precious ore is in front of the sunken delivery boat, near where the pink box for Duff’s delivery can be found. Another is to look for it on the far left side just outside the left exit of the Limestone Caves where theSea People’s Tablet is found inDave the Diver.
Iron ore look exactly like lead or copper ore with exception of the color in thisindie game. While copper ore is a coppery color and lead ore is a dark gray, iron will always be a paler gray or silver color. Only three of these are needed to make a Sniper rifle, and players can hit each deposit three times and get an ore drop each time. Just use whatever melee weapon is on the mouse’s right click button right next to the ore to knock it off and then collect it.
Extra iron ore, if players can find any, can also besold off inDave the Diverto Cobra to get more money to help run the restaurant. But players will have to first unlock his store.
