A44 Games provided a statement on Twitter mentioning that the development team has been hard at work creating the action RPG. “It’s important to our whole team that Flintlock is a special experience, and we owe it to ourselves and to all of you who have been following the game since we announced to make it the most impressive and unforgettable game it can be.” The statement continues, saying that A44 Games is thankful for the support thatFlintlock: The Siege of Dawnhas received. With how great the game has looked thus far, soulslike game fans should be in for a treat once the game development is completed.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawnstars Nor, an explosives expert that wields an axe and a flintlock pistol, and her magical companion Enki, a fox-like creature whose magical abilities allow for easier crowd control. Thisunique action RPGalso has a cel-shaded graphics style and a simplified character progression based on Talismans and equipment. What sets this title apart from other games like it is the ability to control two characters at once in different combat scenarios alongside a unique combination of magical abilities and gunplay that lets players take the fight against groups of enemies. Enki’s magical abilities provide crowd control options that allow Nor to blast her way through the opposition with her guns and unique combat skills. Enki’s abilities can also be used for traversal across the open world while Nor can channel some of its magic to enhance her moves.
It’s worth pointing out thatFlintlock: The Siege of Dawnwill not be exclusive toXbox Game Pass. While the game will be available on Game Pass from day one, it also is going to be available on platforms such as PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
