Underneath that tweet, Fox gave fans an update on game development, stating that it was “going well.” While it is not specifically stated what game Fox is referring to, the majority of fans have assumed that he is talking about the ongoing development ofDeltarune. It seems logical too, that Fox would be referring to the third chapter of the game, but there is the possibility of chapters 3, 4, and 5 all releasing at once.

There isn’t any hint as to when Toby Fox is planning on releasingDeltarune Chapter 3, but he has stated in the past that the wait between chapters 1 and 2 was too long. This led Fox to making the decision of getting other developers to support his work, as he states that now he cannot program for extended periods due to a wrist injury. With development going well and plenty of hands working on the new chapters ofDeltarune, fans are hoping to see them sooner rather than later. ConsideringDeltaruneChapter 2was unveiled at a Nintendo Direct presentation, it is likely that a similar situation could happen with the third chapter.
