No Survivors is a Legendary, Aggressive Frame, Solar SMG that can roll with some top-tier perk combinations on top of having good base stats. It also comes with a new Origin Perk that’s quickly proving to be invaluable inDestiny 2’sPvE. Ghosts of the Deep is a lengthy dungeon but thankfully, farming for this gun takes no more than a few minutes for a well-oiled fireteam. Here’s how to get it.

How to Farm the No Survivors SMG

This new weapon drops from every major encounter inGhosts of the Deep, so players won’t have to worry about repeatedly finishing a single one. However, farming the first boss Ecthar is the fastest way to go about farming for the No Survivors.

Ecthar can be killed in a single damage phase with the right loadout and fireteam setup. For this fight, players should have the following:

Destiny 2 Ecthar Encounter Front Ghosts Of The Deep

The fireteam should have at least one Hunter and one Warlock when farming this boss as the effects that their Supers provide is simply too valuable. Titans can technically rock any subclass here, but Thundercrash Striker is the best for burst damage.Do the fight’s mechanics normallyand get ready to unleash everything.

As for weapons, Legend of Acrius seems to be the best when it comes to cooking the boss in a single phase. Two well-rolled Hotheads with Gjallarhorn can achieve the same result, though this is much riskier since the boss tends to go into melee range.Arbalestcan one-tap Ecthar’s shield whileLuminacan provide a 35% damage boost. Note that the latter’s buff will not stack with Well of Radiance—instead, it will override it until its duration runs out.

A PvE roll for the No Survivors SMG in Destiny 2

No Survivors God Rolls

This SMG comes with the Restoration Ritual Origin Perk, which automatically reloads the gun after players revive an ally or perform a Finisher. It also grants one extra “emergency reload,” which basically refills 100% of the magazine when it’s emptied. Restoration Ritual alone makes this weapon an excellent choice in PvE and a decent option in Competitive Crucible and Trials of Osiris, and it can be paired with the newDiscordperk for even more free ammo refreshes.

No Survivors can roll with a few S-tier PvP and PvE perks as well, including:

DemolitionistandAdrenaline Junkieis a tried-and-tested perk combo that works well in any sort of content. It’s particularly good in PvE, but it has its benefits in the Crucible as well.

Rangefinderis slated for a nerf this season, so players may want to keep a PvP roll with eitherWell-RoundedorElemental Capacitorinstead. Both can help with the SMG’s low base Stability of 17, which will help players resist flinch and control recoil.

Destiny 2is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
