Every Season ofDestiny 2adds more than just new weapons and armor to obtain and new cosmetic offerings on the Eververse store. These Seasons also continue the story ofDestiny 2between expansions. In the case of the Seasons that are part of Year 6, they help connect the story betweenLightfalland the climatic finale ofThe Final Shape.

To go along with the current narrative, each Season also adds a unique title that is thematically appropriate to what is going on in the story. This is especially the case for Season of the Deep. If players complete enough Triumphs they will obtain the title Aquanaut.

How to Get the Aquanaut Title

Just like withevery other title in the game, there is a set of Triumphs that players must complete to unlock a title. The Triumphs required are listed under the Seal for the title in question. Some titles are fairly easy to get, while others are significantly more difficult. For Aquanaut, there are 10 Triumphs related to Season of the Deep content that must be completed. Those Triumphs are as follows.

Weekly Wetwork:Complete the seasonal storyline

Challenges Accepted:Unlock all of the seasonal bonuses

Reprised Reckoning:Defeat enemies withSeason of the Deep weapons

Destiny 2 Wicked Implement Scout Rifle

Big Fish:Defeat both unique bosses in Salvage

Down the Drain:Defeat all three unique bosses in Deep Dives

Pressurized Deep:Complete a Deep Dive where all encounters have the Pressure Trials active

Quantity Over Quality:Catch 150 fish at any of the three fishing ponds

Ambitious Angler:Catch an Exotic fish

Something Wicked This Way Comes:Earn Wicked Implement

While alot of the Triumphs needed to unlock Aquanaut are fairly easy, some of them will take time. IfDestiny 2players have been fishing throughout the Season, they will have no trouble unlocking Quantity Over Quality before the season ends. The trickiest part for this title is Ambitious Angler.Even with Focused Fishing, catching an Exotic fish is entirely based on luck. Some players will catch it right away while others may finally see one after catching hundreds of other fish.

In order to complete Pressurized Deep, players may want to bring their own Fireteam. Since coordination with other players in matchmaking is practically non-existent, it makes it very difficult to complete the Pressure Trials on even one encounter let alone all of them.

Finally, players will need to catch all three Exotic fishes to begin the Exotic questthat unlocks Wicked Implement. Alternatively, players can group with someone who has already caught all three fish. When doing the mission, The Drowning, players may want to bring a Fireteam as it is a very difficult mission with a time limit.

Destiny 2is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
