Precious Scars is an Exotic helmet for Titans that got significantly buffed inDestiny 2Season of the Wish. It went from being mediocre to one of the best options for personal and team-wide survivability in the game for the Titan class. The helmet isn’t as absurdly powerful as the first iteration of the Loreley Splendor, but it gets the job done just as well.
Titans who are looking for more ways to survive inDestiny 2’scombat encounters should consider dusting off their old Precious Scars in their vaults. If you’re not sure what to do with this helmet, here are a few builds for you to consider.

Best Builds For Precious Scars
The main strength of Precious Scars is its abilityto bestow Solar Restorationto you regardless of your currently equipped subclass. This means you’ll be able to use this helmet to either pile defensive effects on top of each other or to plug in some holes in builds that lack survivability. Here’s a condensed list of synergies this Exotic has with every subclass:
High damage resistance while surrounded. Improved grenades with instant healing on melee kills.

Permanent Radiant and Restoration uptime. Greatly improved ability energy regeneration after granting Restoration, Cure, or Radiant to allies.
Supreme AOE damage with Overshields and unlimited healing via Volatile explosions and Devour.
High damage resistance and ability regeneration while near Stasis crystals.
Very high damage resistance with Woven Mail. Banner of War grants periodic healing and improved melee damage.
It’s hard to vouch for any single build due to seasonal meta shifts, but these should be effective anytime and anywhere, regardless ofthe current Seasonal Artifact offerings. You’re free to choose whatever Fragments you want to fill in any remaining open slots.
The best subclasses to use with Precious Scars are Stasis and Arc by virtue of them not having any ways to heal players reliably. It can be argued that the Restoration given by Precious Scars is redundant in a subclass with built-in healing, though you can never go wrong with extra health regeneration.
The most important part about using Precious Scars is you have to be the one landing Final Blows; otherwise, the helmet’s perk won’t activate. This can be an issue in high-difficulty content where enemies are generally harder to kill.Make sure to bring weaponsthat best suit the mission you plan on completing.
