Players have come together to create some amazing things inMinecraft, from makingDoomplayable insideMinecraftto rebuilding Hogwarts and other famous buildings. Now, aMinecraftplayer has recreated the entire Tower ofDestiny 2, and it took them more than 150 hours to do it.
Minecraftbrings out the creativity in people. Between all the building materials, colors, and available time players have, almost anything is possible inside the game. English universities have evenusedMinecraftas an educational tool to teach kids about diabetes. There’s seemingly nothingMinecraftplayers can’t do if they put their minds to it. And now, after 168 hours, YouTuber EetzJosh has made a recreation of the Tower.

The Tower inDestiny 2is the safe hub where players can grab new bounties, chat with NPCs, buy materials, and store their stuff. It’s a massive center, bustling with people, and now some can visit it inMinecraft.User EetzJosh, with the help of collaborators Mealyac and Limonada, made the whole Tower from the ground up. The walkthrough of the Tower in this YouTube video is filled with incredible attention to detail. All it’s missing is thepurple ball Easter egg fromDestiny 2’s tower.
The building took an astounding 226,089 blocks, 168 hours, and threeMinecraftusers to make every detail perfect. It also appears to have been made block-by-block without the help of hacks. Even withoutMinecraftshaders, it looks remarkable, and it’s quite the feat for bothMinecraftandDestinyfans alike. The creator says that the Tower isn’t available to the public, but may be in the future if there is enough interest.
While most players are still trying to figure outhow to barter with piglinsin the Nether, EetzJosh has mastered the beautiful art of putting blocks on top of one another to create whole new worlds withinMinecraft. It’s easy to tell that a lot of time, love, and energy went into this Tower recreation, and hopefully fans will get to see more recreations from this talented MinecrafterandDestiny 2fan.
This also begs the question of what will be next to be recreated inMinecraft. For a game that pushes the bounds of players' imaginations,Minecraftplayershave also been pushing the bounds of what the game is capable of. It’s hard not to be excited for the next big build waiting for a player to put in the time and love to make it happen.
