Diablo 4has temporarily disabled one of its hardest challenges to make adjustments. With the end ofDiablo 4’s early access, the game is available to all players.

InDiablo 4, players dive into a story that takes place 50 years after the events of theDiablo 3: Reaper of Soulsexpansion. In this new chapter of the war between angels and demons,Diablo 4players encounter an epic campaign with the return of Lilith and new horrors to face. Beyond the campaign, there’s a lot to do inDiablo 4that will guarantee players significant hours of gameplay. One way to spice up the gameplay is to try the brutal hardcore mode, where one mistake can cost theDiablo 4player dearly. And there’s also the equipment grind, one ofDiabloplayers' favorite activities.

However, community manager PezRadar announced on the official Blizzard forum thatDiablo 4disabled the level 100 pinnacle challenge temporarily. A few months before launch the developers revealed thatDiablo 4isn’t meant to be played foreverand that the game would also have a “pinnacle boss.” This pinnacle challenge is something for players to test everything they know aboutDiablo 4, from builds to strategies, because after all, this boss serves as the final challenge for the entire game. PezRadar has not revealed when the level 100 pinnacle challenge will be back inDiablo 4.

Players in the race to reach level 100 inDiablo 4are hoping the issue will be fixed soon. A few days before launch Blizzard announced a contest where the first 1,000Diablo 4players to reach level 100 in hardcore mode will have their names added to a Lilith statue at Blizzard’s headquarters. While several players have already reached the level cap valid for the contest, otherDiablo 4players were less lucky. The “hardcore race” continues, and it will certainly get even more intense withDiablo 4’s official release.

Diablo 4’s arrival has not been without some setbacks like bugs and login issues. Blizzard has been acting as quickly as possible, making the necessary adjustments. The devs are looking to ensure the smoothest possible launch for the community, and what we have seen areDiablo 4players excited despite the initial problems. That is a potential positive start for Blizzard’s new ARPG, which points to apromising future forDiablo 4.
