Completing friendship quests is a crucial part of theDisney Dreamlight Valleygameplay as they help level up friendships with villagers. A New Enchantment is one of the friendship quests for Merlin, which unlocks at friendship level two. Read on to learn how to complete this quest inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete A New Enchantment
Speak to Merlin
To begin this quest, players will need to talk to Merlin. Upon talking to him, players will find out that the wise wizard needs some items to continue his study, and also that he is disturbed by the smell of mushrooms in the Peaceful Meadow biome. In order to get rid of the mushrooms, he needs to prepare a potion. However, the items required for the study and preparation of the portion are somewhat hard to find, so Merlin asks players to find them for him.
Collect Dream Shards and Craft a Dreamlight
Before starting tolook for Dream Shards, players should check their inventory first. If they don’t have these shards already, they can remove the night thorns lying around in the valley to earn 10 Dream Shards. Once done, they should take the earned Dream Shards to Merlin, who will task them with crafting a Dreamlight. Head to a crafting station and make a Dreamlight using Dream Shards.
Return to Merlin & Collect More Items
After creating the Dreamlight, players will have to head back to Merlin, who will assign them the task of collecting the following items:
Start the search for bananas inPeaceful Meadowby going towards the stairs leading the Dazzle Beach. Once there, players will findtwo banana trees. Once players are done harvesting bananas, they need to look for White Daisies as they sprout inPeaceful Meadow. Pick four of these flowers and head towards thePlazafor Dandelions and apple trees.Forage six apples from the apple treesand pluck four Dandelions sprouting nearby.
Take all the flowers and fruits and follow him to the mushrooms in Peaceful Meadow near the entrance to the Glade of Trust. Once there,use the watering canon the mushrooms to get rid of them and complete the quest.
