The latest update forDisney Dreamlight Valleyis called “The Laugh Floor” and welcomes belovedMonsters, Inc.characters Sulley and Mike Wasowski to the Valley. It also features an all-new Star Path event containing even more monstrous goodies. As with all previous Star Path events,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers will complete tasks from a set list of duties to unlock a special event currency that can be used to purchase event-exclusive items.
TheLovely Monsters Star Pathdraws heavily on themes from theMonsters, Inc.movie series. It oddly combines these elements with an overarching theme of love, creating an atmosphere that is more akin toa belated Valentine’s Day celebration. Players have the chance to acquire a variety ofMonsters Inc.rewards, including clothing, furniture, and decorative items that are heavily inspired by the movies, and also items that incorporate the color pink, hearts, and other romantic motifs.
How to Unlock and Participate in the Lovely Monsters Star Path Event
To participate in the Lovely Monsters Star Path event, players will need to head to the"Event" tabfound within the game’s menu. This section providesdetails of the Lovely Monsters Star eventalong with the first set of tasks required to progress through the Star Path.
Players have the flexibility toundertake numerous Star Path taskswithin both Dreamlight Valley and in the Eternity Isle region introduced in theA Rift in Timeexpansion. However, they are not required to purchase the expansion in order to complete the Star Path and unlock all of the rewards that it offers.
How to Complete Lovely Monsters Star Path Tasks
The Lovely Monsters Star Path does not deviate fromDisney Dreamlight Valley’s tried-and-true Star Path event formula. The event offerssix pages of unique and event-exclusive rewardsthat players can purchase using an in-game currency earned by completing the listed tasks. After players have unlocked a certain number of rewards on a page, the next page of rewards will unlock, and so on.
The currency to purchase these rewards is earned by completing only those special duties listed in the Event section. The standard Star Path offers players the opportunity to complete any of three tasks at any given time. Once a task is completed, a new task will appear, following a set order.
Players who wish to have more concurrent tasks available, along with additional exclusive rewards, can purchase thePremium Star Path for 2,500 Moonstones, the game’s premium currency. This ups the number of active Star Path tasks to six at a time and also allows the player to purchase specific,Premium-only rewardsthat are unavailable to players progressing through the regular event. Purchasing the Premium Star Path also opens up a seventh reward page that offers no new items but allows those players to exchange event currency for Moonstones,Disney Dreamlight Valley’s premium currency.
All Lovely Monsters Star Path Tasks and How to Finish Them

Each page of rewards in the Lovely Monsters Star Path features one reward that players can purchase with event currency to receive Moonstones. Players on the regular Star Path can purchase two of these bundles, exchanging a total of 50 event tokens for 500 Moonstones. Players who have purchased the Premium Star Path have access to five additional Moonstone bundles and a final page which allows them to exchange any extra tokens for Moonstones.
