Disney Dreamlight Valley’s A Rift in Timeexpansion invites players to explore the region of Eternity Isle, a massive new area featuring three biomes rich in new resources. The expansion adds a plethora of new crafting and cooking recipes which utilize materials found exclusively in these biomes.
As players progress inA Rift in Time’s story, they will gain access to new areas within these biomes which can be unlocked using Mist, the expansion’s version of the Dreamlight currency. In these new areas, players can unlock new quests and discover even more exotic items.

How to Make Electric Power
Electric Poweris one of the new crafting materials added inA Rift in Time. Although this item is exclusive to the expansion, and used in expansion recipes, they are created at a regular crafting station and not theTimebending Table. The recipe for Electric Power can be found in the “Refined Materials” category at the crafting table. To craft a single Electric Power, players need to gather the following materials:
Once they have retrieved the items, they can head to any crafting station to create this item. Crafting this recipe will create 1 Electric Power material.
How to Get Materials for Electric Power
Electric Power is crafted using two unique items that are new inDisney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time. Like all other items and recipes added in the expansion, this item can be crafted only by players who have purchased the paid DLC. Additionally, it cannot be traded to players who have not purchased the expansion via thegame’s multiplayer mode.
How to Get Copper
Copperis one of the first resources players can obtain upon arriving at Eternity Isle. This mineral is readily available by breaking the Small Copper Rocks that can be found in the starting area, Ancient’s Landing, using the Royal Pickaxe. Players can find these rocks in all three of the expansion’s new biome, and will also encounterLarge Copper Rocksthat can be broken, once the Royal Pickaxe has been upgraded, and will yield more Copper.
How to Get Electric Eel
Electric Eel, on the other hand, cannot be obtained until the player has unlocked the Wild Tangle biome. The player will unlock Eternity Isle’s remaining two biomes very early in the expansion’s story after completing the quest “The Sands in the Hourglass.” Once they’ve arrived in the Wild Tangle, they can immediately begin fishing for Electric Eel in the waters of The Grasslands, where they can be found exclusively in orange pools. Electric Eel can also be caught in The Promenade area of the biome.
What is Electric Power Used For
Despite the technicality that a plethora of furniture and décor relies on electricity to operate, Electric Power is used in only a small handful of crafting recipes at this time. The majority of these recipes make outdoor lampposts which feature different color bulbs. There are similarly named lampposts that can be created exclusively at the Timebending Table, but those use Timebending Parts and feature a wildly different design.
