Disney Dreamlight Valleyis an adventurous game that allows players to hang out with iconic Disney characters and participate in a number of activities together. As players progress through the game, they can build houses, find lost items, and clear away any obstacles that have been plaguing the beautiful valley.
Speaking of obstacles, there are giant mushrooms in the valley that block the pathway to Glade of Trust. Merlin, the wise wizard, thinks of a useful way to get rid of these fungi once and for all. But for that, he needs players' help. To remove the mushrooms and complete The Final Trial quest, players will have to collect the items Merlin needs and craft the materials he asked for inDisney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete The Final Trial
Talk to Merlin
The Final Trial quest will not be available until players level up their friendship with Merlin toLeel10. Once done, talk to Merlin, who will ask the player to gather the materials required forupgrading the watering can, which can then be used to get rid of the mushrooms.
Craft Purified Night Shards and Visit WALL-E
Crafting five Purified Night Shards requires25 Night Shards and five Dream Shards. Clear the Night Thorns and dig up the ground to obtain the Night Shards and Dream Shards. Once done, hand over five Purified Night Shards to WALL-E, who will crush them to create theNight Shard Powder.
Take the vial with the powder to Merlin and receive a recipe book from him, which containsthe list of ingredientsrequired to make the ointment.
Gather the Required Materials
Next, players will need to collect the following materials:
Players needto get 25 mushroomsfirst, which are easy to find as they are lying around everywhere inGlade of Trust.Next comes the Ice Heart, which can be grown from its seed. Luckily, players won’t have to find this seed, as the great wizard himself will give it to them at the end of the conversation.
Plant the seed anywhere in the valley using the shovel, and wait for it to grow. Once done with collecting Mushrooms and Ice Heart, players need only one more item, the Falling Water. For this purpose, locate the waterfall in Glade of Trust andcollect some Falling Water.
Craft the Ointment & Remove the Mushrooms
Once players have gathered the required materials, they can start crafting the Royal Watering Can Upgrading Ointment. Once done, take the enchantment to Merlin, who will add the upgrade to the Watering Can.
Lastly, take out the Watering Can and use it to clear out the mushroom patches. This will conclude the Final Trial quest, and players will get Merlin’s Marvelous Wizard Hat as a reward.
