Dragon Ball Superrecently dropped its monthly chapter and it is safe to say that this month, fans got to see quite a lot of action. Currently, the manga is adapting the events ofDragon Ball Super: Super Heromovie and it is safe to say that it has been enjoyable so far. This arc doesn’t appear like it is going to last too long and that means all the action will be concluded rather swiftly. The fighting has already begun and the return of Cell Max appears to be on the cards. This week, fans got to see a lot offocus being thrown on Piccoloand Gohan at the same time. The personalities of Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 were also explored.

Krillin and 18 Join The Action
Dragon Ball Superchapter 95 gave fans a short opening with Krillin and Android 18. Although Krillin appeared to be enjoying a regular day with his family, work soon called him as he also started to sense Gohan’s Ki from a faraway place. At the same time, the hideout of the Red Ribbon Army also gets located and it becomes easy for Krillin to put two and two together and figure out that Gohan is currently engaging with them in battle. Having his own responsibilities on his head, Krillin decides to go join the battle and fight against the threat of the Red Ribbon Army.
Of course, this also means that he has to abandon his family and, as great as he has done in that regard, Krillin simply cannot abandon duty at this time. Thankfully, 18 offers to join in on this mission as she doesn’t really trust where he’s actually going. To Krillin, however, having 18 at his side is only more reassuring, given that she is much stronger than him anyway and has fared well against monstrously powerful creatures recently, especially in the Tournament of Power. While this segment of the chapter was pretty short, it was quite fun for the fans to explore, given that these two don’t often get the chance to make an impact on the story. Fans thoroughly enjoyed their interactions and hope for them to be relevant in the arc going forward.
Gohan Vs Gamma 1
Much ofDragon Ball Superchapter 95 focused on the major clashes involving Gohan and Piccolo. In the case of Gohan, fans know that he is trying to get to his daughter, Pan, who is currently in possession of the members of the Red Ribbon Army. To stop Gohan, Gamma 1 decides to join the battle and the fight appears to be an evenly matched one. Gamma 1 is quite powerful and as an Android, has been developed so that he can take on the vast majority of the threats. He can even familiarize himself with many fighting styles and adapt to them quickly.

He goes on to state that he has over 80% of battery, which doesn’t look well for Gohan, given that he is a Saiyan and would eventually run out of energy, no matter how hard he tries to fight. Nonetheless, Gohan delivers a powerful barrage of attacks on Gamma 1 and fans certainly enjoyed the choreography here. Gamma 1, on the other hand, also went on to showcase his powerful abilities and repay the favor to Gohan. The fight between these two characters was even, for the most part, however, the writer made sure to highlight the fact thatGohan was consistently getting weakeras he fought more while the Android wasn’t, making this an unfavorable situation for the Saiyan.
Piccolo Vs Gamma 2
Fans also got to see Piccolo fight against Gamma 1 for an extended period of time in this chapter. While Piccolo was still posing as a member of the Red Ribbon Army at the beginning, as soon as Gamma 2 entered the fighting following Dr. Hedo’s command, Piccolo decided to interrupt since it would have been way too much for Gohan to handle on his own. Fans know that Piccolo previously had his potential unlocked and this meant that he was now much stronger than ever before. Taking Gamma 2 on in combat, fans were surprised to see that Piccolo was actually faring quite well, just as well as Gohan, and managed to launch some powerful attacks on the Android.

Of course, Piccolo was also on the receiving end of some of the strongest strikes of Gamma 2 and fans only got to see how perfect these two Androids were. Interestingly, Piccolo also noticed that the Android was actually not all that bad. He felt bad for them because, at the end of the day, the Androids had no real freedom and were simply doing whatever Dr. Hedo told them to do.
Fans could continue seeing them exchange words as they fought and soon, it was clear that Gamma 2 was the superior one of the two.Dragon Ball Superchapter 95 also saw the teamwork between Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 being explored as they decided to take out Piccolo first and Gohan later. The two combined flawlessly and completely overwhelmed Piccolo and would have easily defeated him had Gohan not jumped in the way and taken Gamma 1 out of the situation.
Orange Piccolo Arises
Towards the end of the chapter, it was pretty clear that neither Gohan nor Piccolo were strong enough to defeat these Androids and no matter how hard they tried, they would end up losing eventually, as they did not have the power to overwhelm them and neither did they have the ability to keep on fighting as long as their adversaries did. When Piccolo, despite having his potential unleashed, was defeated, things looked very grim for him as Gamma 2 decided to finish things off, however, in the midst of that, Shenron revealed that he had given him an extra boost.
This extra boost came in the form of a new transformation for Piccolo, which fans got to see at the very end of the chapter. This form appears to be completely different from what fans are used to seeing from Piccolo. He appears to be far more bulkier, with a chiseled jaw and a very intimidating presence. Fans who have watchedDragon Ball Super: Super Heroknow thatthis transformation is called Orange Piccolo.
His skin changes color, as is evident from the name of the form, andhis power grows tremendously. On his back, fans get to see the Namekian crest of pride, and even though fans only got a few glimpses of this transformation, it is already mesmerizing, to say the least. In the next few chapters, fans will most likely get to see this form at its peak and what it truly is capable of doing in combat. There is a lot to look forward to inDragon Ball Superand fans can only hope that the upcoming chapter is just as good as this one was.
