There are many conditions your character can get into while exploring the massive world ofDragon’s Dogma 2. Some are not that harmful, like the Drenched condition, unless the Arisen gets hit by a lightning attack, then that’s another story. But other conditions can be pretty deadly.
One of the worstconditions inDragon’s Dogma 2is, without a doubt, Blighted. It sticks to your character and never leaves it until it’s cured. While Blighted, your character will continuously lose both their HP and their Full HP gauge. While infuriating, it’s also fatally harmful if you aren’t prepared tocure Blight inDragon’s Dogma 2as it eventually starts to build up and take deadly chunks of your character’s HP.
How To Cure Blight In Dragon’s Dogma 2
There are many ways to cure Blight inDragon’s Dogma 2. The fastest and most effective way is to use Curatives that can specifically cure Blight likeDetoxifying Decoction, or ones that cure all debilitations likePanacea. you may follow recipes and combine ingredients you find everywhere on the map to make Curatives. In the case of Detoxifying Decoction, combiningSyrupwort LeafandPitywortwill make the Curative that can cure Blight.
Syrupwort Leaf is a wildflower leaf, rich in syrupy sap that can make other potions like Quenching Syrup that can cure Caught Fire and Torched debilitations. It can also be used to craft recovering HP Curatives like Salubrious Draught, or Drenching Arrows. As for Pitywort, it’s a detoxicating herb that can only be used to make Detoxifying Decoction that cures Blight inDragon’s Dogma 2.
There are also other means to cure Blight inDragon’s Dogma 2.Mage Vocationhas a specific spell(Weapon Skill) that can cure Blight called High Halidom, which is the improved version of Halidom. This Spell doesn’t only cure Blight, it also cures other debilitations like Caught Fire, Frostbite, Unconscious, Sleep, Silence, Drenched Tarred, Torched, and Ice-bound. The Blighted condition doesn’t only come from enemies’ attacks, it sometimes comes from other sources like eating rotten food. you’re able to protect your food by storing it in Inns or the Arisen’s storage chestin theirDragon’s Dogma 2home. You can even combine and make new Curatives from the Inn’s menu where you get access to all the ingredients you stored before.
