Where To Find The Medusa Set
Each of the Medusa set pieces have a chance to drop in the Arx Corinium Dungeon. Newer players will want to stick with normal difficulty until they have the gear and experience to farm on Veteran difficulty. Those with decent characters should always run the dungeon on Veteran difficulty. Purple drops are very rare in a normal playthrough, and players will want to have the best version of the set if possible.

Anyone that is farming the Staff will want to play on normal,as the drop chances do not change and it will be a lot easier to get through quickly. On the other hand, the necklace drops as both a rare and epic item. Gamers will want torun veteran to get the epic versionof the item.
The four-person Shadowfen dungeon has a recommended level of 28-31.Players at a higher levelwill breeze through it, but beginners below that mark will need some help. Each of the bosses has a moderate health pool of around 1.7 million.
Use The Activity Finder
The activity finder is a great resource for players that do not have a group of friends to play with online. Grinding the veteran dungeon is hectic and time-consuming as a solo. Drop Rates

Most players have been able to complete the set in just a few playthroughs. However, a lot of gamers have been frustrated while trying to unlock one of the four staffs. It appears that the drop rate of each of the four staffs is the equivalent to that of the other weapons.

At the beginning of the dungeon, players will need to watch out for the glowing red Lamia enemies, which can stun characters with their scream attacks. Most of the Lamia have interruptible attacks. The proper way to take them on is tohave the tank pull them and interrupt each enemy’s attack before they cast it.Snakes in the dungeon have the ability to heal. If they are coiling up, people need to ensure to finish the kill before they regenerate.

Fanged Menace
Use the same pool and AOE strategy as the Lamia enemies to kill all of the adds. Squads must avoid the large AOE attack.If the attack does damage, it will heal the snake. Eliminate all the adds first, avoid the AOE attack, and take down the boss. Watch out for the Menace’s front heavy attack too.
Ganakton The Tempest
With the next boss,tank aggro will be essential. DPS players will not want to be anywhere near this huge dragon-like creature. Even the tank will need toavoid the boss' front AOE attack, whichdeals a huge amount of damage. Rely on the healer AOE for constant regen. Additionally, players need tobe in a diamond formationso that the random seeking attack is obvious.
Sliklenia the Songstress
This boss is relatively straightforward. She has a couple of heavy attacks, but the tanks should be able to face her away from the DPS characters easily. Players shouldleave the snake alive and retreat into the green bubblewhen the boss summons it. If the Songstress is killed, the snake will also be killed. Once she dies,press the button in the room to activate the bridge.
Matron Inxiaa
Matron Inxiaa’s AOE attack will be the biggest threat. She will attack with a small AOE followed by a large one. Any DPS with less than full health will die immediately from the center AOE attack. On top of high damage, the AOE will knock any character down if they fail to dodge it. Avoid the attack, and the boss should go down quickly.
Ancient Lurcher
Byusing the same principles as with the smaller Lurchers, squads will have no problems with the mini-boss. If the tank pools and the DPS characters interrupt attacks, this fight will feel like little more than a mob.
Sellistrix The Lamia Queen
Against the Lamia queen, thetank pull and diamond formation tips from abovewill be key. Squads will need to fight her on land at the start.As soon as she calls in the large AOE, enter the water to avoid it. Once the AOE attack is over, move back onto the ground and continue fighting. Fight, block, and avoid the AOE to take her down eventually.
Obviously, if the AOE attack is slightly in the water, move out of the bubble. When the Queen is not attacking with the seconds-long AOE, she can electrocute the water to deal more damage.
Medusa Set Stats & Usage
Each additional piece of the Medusa Set adds 652 spell critical.The fifth piece will increase spell critical by 892, and activate minor force at all times. This means that the character will have a permanent 10% buff to critical damage. These passives are excellent for spellcasters that wear heavy armor, as the Medusa is a heavy set.
There is some debate as to whether spell critical is better than Magika damage, but both are useful in their own ways. Increased damage guarantees a damage output, while critical is more of a gamble depending on how the character is spec’d.
