Fort Hagen is a military base that is found inFallout 4.Players might come across the location as they explore Boston or they might find it as they complete quests. Being a military base, players must be on the lookout not just for turrets and hostile robots, but also new inhabitants to the base.

With theAutomatronDLC, Fort Hagen’s hanger becomes a hideout for a new gang. After getting rid of the enemies around the base, players are able to explore and learn about the history of Fort Hagen. Some facts may be surprising, while others will seem obvious.
Players who areon the hunt for every Bobbleheadcan find one inside of Fort Hagen. This Bobblehead can be found in the Command Center underneath the main building, in the kitchen between two refrigerators.
Obtaining it will give the player +25% energy weapon critical damage. It can also be added to the Bobblehead stand and displayed in one of the player’s settlements.
9Can Only Access Command Center During Certain Quest
The Fort Hagen Command Center is where the player will go to fight Kellogg. If you attempt to go to the Command Center before the quest Reunions, you will not be able to. There will be a piece of wood that blocks the door inside. This was most likely done so the player could not fight Kellogg before they’re supposed to.
8Has Purified Water Fountains
Players might have skipped over this fact without thinking much about it, but the water fountains in Fort Hagen do not give you radiation. This is useful information if you are playing on Survival mode.

This water is probably the safest to drink in the Commonwealth. Players will not need to worry about taking Rad-X or RadAway when they drink from the fountains around base.
7Full Of Synths
Fort Hagen was taken over by Synths when Kellogg moved into it. Because of this, players should be cautious when they first enter the base. It is too early in the game forthe player to side with the Institute, so they will have to fight.
Players will at least be able to pick up new weapons and armor from the Synths they kill. These Synths will be Gen 1 and 2, so they will not be as tough as others found later in the game.
6Kellogg’s Headquarters
As it is discovered, Kellogg has turned the Command Center of Fort Hagen into his headquarters. You can find Institute-looking furniture at the bottom of the fort, and this is also the location whereyou go to confront Kellogg.
Players are able to loot a Fat Man from this area that can used in the showdown with Kellogg. Gaining access to the terminals in this area will also give you a look at the work Kellogg has done. Furthermore, it gives you a place to regain health before your fight.
5Satellite Array is Rust Devils' Base
When players install theAutomatronDLC, the Fort Hagen satellite array becomes the hideout for a new gang, the Rust Devils. The DLC will also add the Fort Hagen hangar, a new location, to the base.

The terminal to gain access to the hangar will only be found during the Headhunting quest. The player will need to fight through the Rust Devils to gain access to a Robobrain.
4Last Commander Was George M. Martin
By going to the Greater Mass Blood Clinic, players can find a terminal that talks about the last commander of Fort Hagen. The commander was named George M. Martine and it was revealed he had health issues. He was recommended weight loss, but ordered his health to be reported as “Excellent.”
It would seem the commander’s luck gets worse than that, as his wife might have had an affair. Her unborn child’s paternity test for the wife shows that there is a 90% chance for a Private Cesar M. Lopez to be the father.
3Filling Station Has Workbenches And Power Armor Station
There is a Red Rocket gas station that is located near Fort Hagen. Inside is an armor workbench, a weapons workbench, and a power armor station. This allows the player to upgrade anything they might need before assaulting Fort Hagen.

Along with the workshops, this makes Fort Hagen a decent place for players to take refuge. After clearing it, the military base can be taken over and used as a makeshift home.
2Most Likely An Armor Base
Fort Hagen might have been an armor base before the war as tanks and APCs can be found in the fort’s hangar during theAutomatronDLC. Power armor stations can also be found, making it seem more like an armor base.
Near a relay tower outside of Fort Hagen, players can find a tank stuck on some rocks. There is a note from a Colonel Kemp that tells the soldiers to get the tank out, threatening to arrest them. With the tanks found in the hangar, these soldiers most likely came from Fort Hagen.
1Fort Relay Tower Sends Off Nuclear Warning
There is a tower called Relay Tower 0BB-915 that is found north of Fort Hagen. Activating the tower will allow the player to find three different broadcasts. One of these will be a warning tothe citizens of Bostonabout nuclear war.
The broadcast will alert players to nuclear strikes in New York, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Boston. Luckily enough, these are from before the Great War and you have nothing to worry about.
