As Ifrit’s Dominant, Clive has access to a variety of fiery abilities that he can use to take his enemies down.Every ability inFinal Fantasy 16has a specific function, and since so many become available while progressing the story, players will likely struggle with choosing which ones to unlock first. The Ignition abilityis one of the most useful abilities Clive acquires duringFinal Fantasy 16’s early game, but using it effectively can take a great deal of practice.

What Does The Ignition Ability Do?

When activated, the Ignition ability allows Clive tocharge into an enemywhilecontinually damaging them with his sword. If the enemy on the receiving end of this attack is small enough, they will be dragged along by Clive’s blade until the attack ends. Ignition also allows players to move Clive around and aim him at enemies, permitting him to attack and drag multiple enemies if he collides with more than one.
