Camp Facilities are a brand-new feature inFire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. All the Facilities will eventually be unlocked by the start of Chapter 6, but players will receive a tutorial on how to upgrade them in Chapter 4. Building on Facilities requires Materials, which are collectible items that can also be used to trade or sell around camp.

Facilities are much like the seminars, goals, and dining hall inFire Emblem: Three Houses. By building on a Facility inFire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, players will have access to more resources and have a higher chance of succeeding at cooking or doing chores. As most players may have guessed, better upgrades to the facilities require high-quality Materials. Luckily, there are a few ways players can go about farming them.

Collecting Materials

The easiest way to farm Materials is tocomplete Side Quests around the War Map.Some of the Territories that can be surveyed once an area is clear (i.e: in the blue) will give three different Materials as a reward. Not all Materials are free, however, and some NPCs won’t hand them over unless theyreceive something like gold in return.

The second way to get Materials is to use theSupply Depot. After each battle (including those at the Record Keeper), players will be able to Collect Supplies. This is one way to get various items such as Smithing Stones, Food, and even Materials. Alternatively, players can trade Smithing Stones for Materials. At the start, three Smithing Stones will give one (low-quality) Material.

By upgrading the Supply Depot, players can decrease the cost of Materials and increase the exchange rate. A fully-upgraded Supply Depot will allow players to purchase Materials of every quality. Thus, the Supply Depot isone of the first Facilitiesthat players should work on upgrading.

What to Do with Materials

The most logical way to use Materials is togive them to the Facility Management. There are several categories of Materials for each Facility. For example, an Advanced Combat Material will only be usable for the Tactics Academy, not the Training Grounds or Kitchen. In a first playthrough, it’ll be impossible to upgrade every Facility to its maximum potential. Fortunately, Materials collected will carry over into a New Game Plus.

Once players have upgraded all Facilities and received an S Rank for their Camp, they won’t have any need for Materials. Players can choose to sell these at the Item Shopkeeper, or they cantrade them for Smithing Stones and Mineralsat the Supply Depot. This is a good way to farm items necessary for forging and unleashing Weapons.
