Two months into Chapter 4 Season 3, Epic Games added the Lonely Labyrinth landmark to the game, but it remained hidden for many gamers as it’s not on the surface. This guide will show players exactly how to find and solve the Lonely Labyrinth inFortnite.
How to Enter the Lonely Labyrinth
TheLonely Labyrinth is located directly east of the Aegis Temple and north of Lonely Labs, the icynamed locationthat can be found in the northeastern part of the map.
On the surface, players will find the Frigid Frog landmark, an uninteresting island where they will only see a remote station and retrieve very little loot. to find the entrance to the Lonely Labyrinth, players shoulddescend on the Ascender, located on the western side of the island, north of the ice bridge that connects Frigid Frog to Aegis Temple.
Once they’ve reached the ground down below, they’ll be able to spot a large metal door, hidden neatly in the ice blocks. Players can now enter the Lonely Labyrinth and attempt to reach the middle.
How to Reach the Middle of the Maze
Players will have to reach the middle of the labyrinth in order to retrieve the loot. To do this, they must accurately follow these directions once they’ve entered the maze:right, right, left, right, left, forward, right, left, right, left, left, right, left, right, left, left, right, left, forward.
The maze can be misleading, especially at first. As soon as players walk in, they’ll see a huge neon arrow pointing left, but it was only placed there to fool those who enter; this arrow takes gamers towards the exit. Additionally,all the port-a-potties that players come across in the maze will only get them out- there is no secret treasure room in the port-a-potties.
If players ever feel lost whileexploring the confusing labyrinth, they should either take a port-a-potty to find an exit and try again, or they should attempt to locate wooden arrows on the wall.The wooden arrows blend in quite well, so they’re easy to miss, but they actually point towards the loot room in the center of the maze.
Once gamers have reached the secret room, they should empty all of the contents in the treasure chests, and then they can leave by entering the port-a-potty nearby.
