One of the developers behindForzahas confirmed thatForza Horizon 4will remain on the market for the foreseeable future, putting to rest a rumor that the title would be delisted like earlier ones in the series. While theForza Horizongames set in the Mediterranean and Australia have been delisted fromthe Microsoft Storein the past, there’s no sign thatForza Horizon 4will meet the same fate.
PreviousForzatitles likeForza Horizon 2and its immediate sequel have been delisted from the Microsoft Store about four years after their launch. These initial games aren’t featured as part of the Game Pass lineup likeForza Horizon 4either, making it harder for fans of the originalForza Horizonexperiences to relive their memories of the Mediterranean and Australian adventures if they don’t already own them. Although some long-timeForzafans have worried aboutForza Horizon 4receiving the same treatment soon, Community Manager T10ManteoMax has given a serendipitous update to the community.

Forza Horizon 4was the first title in the series to launchday one on Game Pass, and it was also the first of these games to tackle the live service model of regular content drips alongside important updates. AlthoughForza Horizon 5has been available for almost a year now, the trend of older titles being removed from digital storefronts leavesForzafans with fewer alternatives to the latest game than they would otherwise. As someForza Horizon 4players that invested in the live service title speculated on theForzaforums that the game would be going offline in a month, T10ManteoMax stated there was “no need to worry,” and “we’re not planning on delistingForza Horizon 4anytime soon.”
In addition to the baseForza Horizon 4experience, diehard fans of the game may have also delved into theFortune IslandandLEGO Speed Championsexpansion content which broadened how much a player could do on the open world map. Because there are no plans to removeForza Horizon 4from Xbox Game Pass or digital storefronts in the near future, this game may continue to be a home forForza Horizon 5fans that are looking for more content or different locations to explore. While it isn’t being taken down anywhere, developers at Playground Gamesand Turn 10 continue to work on the newer titles in theForzafranchise, which means thatForza Horizon 4is likely complete as it is today and may not be getting additional content.
AlthoughForza Horizon 4may be taken offline in the future like other entries in the series, the live service model continues to keepSteam and Microsoftplayers coming back regularly that may have otherwise played through the campaign and went on to something else.
Forza Horizon 4is available now for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
