AGenshin Impactplayer has shared a concept in which they equip the NPC Dainsleif with Lisa’s new outfit named “A Sobriquet Under Shade.” Even though the playable roster is always the main focus of each new update, developer HoYoverse does not add too many skins, at least compared to other open-world action-RPG titles.
Genshin Impacthas a unique approach to character design which often inspires players to create and share their own fan-made concepts. Dainsleif is one of the most mysterious characters in all of Genshin Impact, and he will most likely join the playable roster in future updates.

Reddit user Fylln has shared an impressive piece of art in which they equipped Dainsleif with Lisa’s brand-new outfit that arrived in the currentGenshin Impactupdate 3.4. Fans seem to like this concept as it already reached over 4.7k upvotes on the game’s official subReddit. Dain is a mysterious character who already appeared a couple of times in the game’s official storyline. He used to be the captain of the Royal Guard of Khaenri’ah, which is an ancient civilization that was destroyed by Teyvat’s gods 500 years before the game’s official timeline. A big part of the nation tried to rebel against the ruler in Celestia which led to the region’s inevitable destruction.
Lisa’s new “A Sobriquet Under Shade” outfitcan be acquired for free by finishing the limited event named Second Blooming. After this update ends, the new outfit will probably be included in the in-game shop, and it will cost 1680 Genesis Crystals which is around $15. Many comments claim that they would like to see Dainsleif featured in one of the upcoming updates.
During his last appearance in the “We Will Be Reunited” quest line, Dainsleif went through a portal to chase down an Abyss Herald and the Traveler’s sibling. While he was introduced as a good character, his intentions are still unclear and many players suspect that he could actually become one of the main enemies in the story. Luckily, recent leaks have revealed that Dain will apparently arrive in the upcomingGenshin Impactversion 3.5.
His next quest could alsoinclude the four-star character Kaeya, another character from Khaenri’ah. These two characters also share a similar design as both of them have Primogem-shaped pupils and a part of their face covered. Many fans were surprised to see Dain fight against the Abyss since it was created in this home nation.
