AGenshin Impactleak has revealed the wishing animation for one of the upcoming characters, the Dendro user Baizhu. Developer HoYoverse has already announced his official arrival in the upcoming update 3.6 alongside the popular Sumeru architect Baizhu.
At the moment, Baizhu serves as a fan-favorite NPC who’s known as the proud owner of the Bubu Pharmacy located in Liyue Harbor. Whenever aGenshin Impactplayer spends their Primogems to pull on a banner, it triggers a unique wishing animation that reveals their rewards that include new characters and weapons.

Each update in the game has its own beta phase which contains most of the upcoming updates, including new characters, weapons, and regions. A newGenshin Impactleak shows the wishing animations for the new Dendro user Baizhu. He was the first Dendro Vision holder to appear in the game and many fans expected him to be the first playable character to use this element. However, HoYoverse delayed his release since he’s tied to the Liyue region and the first couple of Dendro characters hail from the new Sumeru region. When it comes to his power on the field, leaks have confirmed thatBaizhu will be a new Dendro support.
Baizhu’s whole kit seems to revolve around his Elemental Burst, Holistic Revivification, which creates a powerful shield that gen regenerates itself every 2.5 seconds. This shield will provide powerful healing as well as damage absorption which could make Baizhu the best defensive Dendro support in the game. Players hope that he arrives on the same banner as the new four-star character Kaveh which would allow players to pull for both characters by wishing on the same banner.
While Baizhu’s exact release date is yet to be officially confirmed, credible leakers have revealed that he will be placed in the second part of the next update. Baizhu and Kaveh won’t be the only Dendro characters inGenshin Impactupdate 3.6 as leaks confirmed that theDendro Archon Nahida will receive her first re-runon the first banner cycle. At the moment, Nahida is widely considered the most powerful Dendro character in the whole roster.
Her elemental application cannot be matched by any other Dendro user in the game and just like the three previous Archons, Nahida is very flexible and can fit many different team comp types. She is expected to be joined by another Sumeru character, the Hydro user Nilou whose kit revolves around triggering aspecific elemental reaction inGenshin Impactnamed Bloom.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
