There are plenty of shipwrecks inGenshin ImpactFontaine, and many of them hold little-to-no significance. However, some locations rely on these shipwrecks as their primary aesthetics. For instance,Navia’sbase in Poisson, and The Rusty Rudder.
The Rusty Rudder is filled with people who are down with their luck, and some shady business even occurs here. However, Travelers can still make an honest income by giving the correctanswer to Permingeat questionsinGenshin Impact.
Pass the final question to gain access to the cannon.
Rusty Rudder Location & Quiz Reward
The Rusty Rudder is located east of theFoggy Forest Path inGenshin Impact. Head up the shipwreck to find Permingeat and talk to her to start The Rusty Rudder quiz.
After answering all three quizzes correctly, the cannon can now be used.Don’t aim the artillery as it’s already pointing in the correct directionand simply shoot the Hydro bullet.
Once the cave opens, claim the Exquisite Chest that contains 20,000Mora. Don’t forget to also unlock the brand new Teleport Waypoint. Head deeper inside and players will find someCrystalflies inGenshin Impact.
Deep in the cave, Travelers can collect oneHydroculusbefore approaching some Hydro Slimes and beating them to open the Common Chest. The treasure contains twoPrimogems, oneHydro Sigil, and a hidden Seelie.
Continue walking, and people will notice a sealed Luxurious Chest underwater. To open it, players must bring back three Seelies into their respective Seelie Courts. The first one was the one hidden inside the Common Chest, while the other two will come home after Travelers solve the nearbyDew Bubble puzzle inGenshin Impact.
To solve the Harmonious Reed Pipe’s Bubble puzzle, simply hit the Bubble when the two moving platforms are close to each other. This will ensure the ripples hit each other; make sure to hit the Bubble near the one-symbol Pipe first.
Using a bow’s aimed shot is the easiest way to pop the Bubble.
Once the puzzle is completed, use the Humongous Hat Jellyfish to reach the further Seelie. Don’t forget to claim the Hydroculus in the nearby puddle, then bring back the two Seelie into their court to unlock the Luxurious Chest.
Open the Luxurious Chest to get 10 Primogems and four Hydro Sigils, then break the rock underwater and follow the current to the end of the cave. At the end of the hidden passage, a Remarkable Chest that contains aStandard Shipping Palletfurnishing blueprint and fiveGenshin ImpactPrimogemsawaits.
