Even thoughGenshin ImpactVersion 2.5 was by considered a filler update by the majority of the community, it introduced one of the most anticipated characters in the game: Yae Miko. She is a five-star character with a strong focus on dealing Electro damage.

Genshin Impactfeatures a party system which allows players to quickly swap between four characters at any given moment. This forces players to create their own team compositions which are usually made of a DPS character, two supports, and one healer.

A new video on the popularGenshin ImpactsubReddit shows an interesting interaction between Yae Miko and the Overworld enemies. Reddit user Viscaz has shared a video of his Yae Miko traveling through the world of Teyvat and taking out enemies with ease. All she has to do is place three of her totems by using theElemental Skill called Sesshou Sakura. The totems periodically strike nearby enemies with lightning dealing Electro damage. There can be only three Sesshou Sakura on the field, but they can boost each other’s damage if placed within a short distance.

The video shows Yae Miko placing her Sesshou Sakura while bypassing enemies, leaving the totems to do the damage. This is especially effective if the enemies are already infused with another element like the popular Slimes or if an explosive barrel is nearby. Yae Miko is not the only character that can do this type ofAFK farming inGenshin Impact, but she has the most effective kit for the job at the moment.

Multiple replies in the comment section reveal that players can use a combination of Fischl and Albedo to do a similar job. Adding Zhongli andRaiden Shogunto the mix would allow players to clear enemy camps without even using their Normal Attacks.

Since her release, Yae Miko has been one of the mostcontroversial characters inGenshin Impact. Developer HoYoverse decided to change her Elemental skill at the start ofGenshin ImpactVersion 2.6 which made her totems prioritize the nearest enemy rather than having a random target selection with the goal to improve her DPS consistency. The change received a major backlash as the community stated that the RNG factor on her totems allowed her to apply Electro damage to multiple targets at the same time which was one of her greatest strengths. HoYoverse heard the complaints, issued an apology, and reverted the changes after a couple of days.

Genshin Impactis now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5 with a Switch version in development.
