For the longest time, only Mr. Freeze, Penguin, and the Court of Owls had been officially revealed as antagonists inGotham Knights. That has since been dispelled asyesterday’s Gamescom trailer forGotham Knightsrevealed Harley Quinn and Clayface will have their own villain storylines to follow.
However, it seems as though their announcement is not the only new reveal coming that is associated with these new villains. Early tomorrow,Gotham Knightsis scheduled to release new information on Harley Quinn in the form of boss fight gameplay footage. IfGotham Knights’ first gameplay presentationis any indication of what will be shown for Harley’s boss fight, fans can expect to finally see another boss fight they will engage in at some point in the game.

As found by Twitter user Gotham Knights Updates, IGN has a new video scheduled to go live tomorrow morning, at 12 PM EST, that features the aforementioned Harley Quinn boss fight. It is unclear at what point in her storyline this fight, in particular, will take place, as it has been suggested that players will encounter villains multiple times during their “villain crime” storylines. The only other tidbit of information known is that the gameplay will haveGotham Knights’ Nightwingfacing off against Harley.
It will be interesting to see more of Nightwing’s gameplay and perhaps another cosmetic of his that fans have not seen before, but of course, fans are probably more excited to see how Harley will be as a boss. Mr. Freeze’s own boss fight was shared forGotham Knights, though it was only briefly teased before fading out.
This will likely be the case with Harley’s boss fight gameplay since WB Games Montreal probably does not want to share too much of its boss fights if it hopes to maintain some surprises for fans whenGotham Knightslaunches. Indeed, some fans argue that too much has been shown forGotham Knights, and hope to avoid any future gameplay to avoid potential spoilers.
Meanwhile, there are other fans who are happy to see as much gameplay as possible in order to decide whether they think it would be a worthwhile experience or not.Gotham Knightshas shown little to nothing about its antagonists before yesterday’s Gamescom trailer, and new boss fight gameplay coming tomorrow is certainly another surprise.
Harley Quinn’s attacks as a boss will likely revolve around her iconic mallet, but beyond that, it is anyone’s guess what abilities, AoE attacks, or gadgets she may employ against Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Red Hood. Harley has been known to use explosive jack-in-the-boxes and other such trap tools, and it is possible fans will see them lobbed at Nightwing tomorrow in gameplay of her boss fight.
Gotham Knightsis set to release on October 21 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
