While so far there’s only been rumors and leaks, there’s so much hype built up forGrand Theft Auto 6that the sequel is all but certain to come sometime in the future. Since Rockstar Games has said next to nothing about the sequel, fans are left to sift throughrumors about possible city leaksand other news, hoping to find something credible.

The previous game,Grand Theft Auto V, pushed the boundaries of what open-world games can offer, so of course, plenty of fans are ready to see howGrand Theft Auto 6can improve the series. In fact, one fan is so ready to see this new installment, they created their own loading screen concept and shared it online.

Fan artist Lazlow’s video showcases some characters who look like they could belong in the upcoming crime game, including a young, tattooed thug with pistols akimbo and various ladies. Of course, it wouldn’t be aGTAloading screen without some controversial innuendo, and Lazlow thoughtfully stuck that in there too. The backgrounds behind each character show a sunny city by the bay with palm trees in one background. It seems Lazlow is expectingGrand Theft Auto 6’s locationto be set in either another San Andreas city, or more likely Vice City given the bright neon lights used for Rockstar’s logo.

Most fans are impressed with theGrand Theft Auto 6loading screen concept, which Lazlow says was made using Adobe Photoshop, Sony Vegas 12, and After Effects. Not everyone’s a big fan of the concept, though. One Redditor liked the art but thought the concept was too similar toGTAV’s loading screen. Another thought the music fit well, but said the loading screen looked “too off.”

Thanks to the previous game’s massive open-world, highly entertaining gameplay, and consistent updates toGTA Online, fans are expecting a lot fromGTA 6. So far, the biggest question iswhen it will actually release. Usually,GTAgames come every four to five years, but in 2018 Rockstar releasedRed Dead Redemption 2. That game and it’s online variant have taken up quite a bit of Rockstar’s focus, so it’s still unclear how soon fans can expectGTA 6.

There was asocial media post from a stuntmanthat popped up online a while ago claiming he had credits on bothGrand Theft Auto 6andRed Dead Redemption 2, but that turned out to be a fake. Given the CV didn’t match stunt actor Tim Neff’s IMDB page, contained numerous spelling errors, and wasn’t immediately taken down by Rockstar, that should’ve been obvious.

Grand Theft Auto 6has yet to be announced.
