Fans can own multiple apartment and garage properties to have home bases spread throughout the city of Los Santos. Unfortunately, players cannot simply sell their properties. There is still a way to get money back by trading properties in for cheaper ones.
Trading in Apartments/Properties
Players need to press up on the D-pad to access the internet on their in-game phones. Go to the Dynasty8 web page, where all real estate transactions are made. Search in the low-end property tabs for a cheap apartment or garage. Click to purchase it.
The game will then allow the player to pick a slot to place the new property.Placing it on a property will replace it and give the player a trade-in value. This will be the difference between the old property and the new one that the player will receive.Purchasing a more expensive apartmentwill not net the player any trade-in money.
Free Garage Trick
If players want the full value of their property returned, they may be able to purchase a specific garage for free. Search at the bottom of the Low-End tab for thegarage unit located at 124 Popular St.This garage was originally made free for owners of the Collector’s Edition ofGTA 5.It can also be available for free to players on thecurrent-gen console versions.
Buy the free garage and replace a property to get all the money back.If the garage unit is not free, it will still be one of the cheapest properties at $25,000. This makes it good for offloading any unwanted apartments.
Tips for New Players
Gamers who are starting fresh will have a slightly different experience than those who have been around since the beginning.GTA Onlinenow gives new players some cash and other bonuses to get going and earn money quickly. These bonuses include a business and a free high-end apartment. Trading in either of these will result inzero trade-in valuefor the player.
High-end apartments are also necessary for planning online heists. Playersshould always keep at least one apartment with a heist planning roomif they ever want to earn big cash by taking part in multi-part heists.
