Although theHalofranchise is categorized as first-person shooter, vehicles have historically been a huge part of the series' appeal. Now, a leak appears to show off five vehicles that will apparently be returning inHalo Infinite.
Twitter user @HaloNoticiasMX, a Spanish-language account that shares news and leaks fromHalo Infiniteas long as they don’t contain campaign spoilers, recently posted a thread of short videos. Each clip showcases gameplay footage of avehicle allegedly found inHalo Infinite.

The list includes the heavy Scorpion battle tank, the one-man air support vehicle known as the Wasp, the self-propelled artillery vehicle known as the Wraith, the Banshee ground-assault aircraft, and thefan-favorite Chopper rapid assault vehicle. Each video shows a player walking around the vehicle in question, examining the model for every vehicle, before finally boarding.
Once in the driver’s seat, the player drives or flies the vehicle around for a while, showing off its new animations and firing the weapons it has to offer. None of the videos show other players or vehicles attacking, so it appears that these clips are more tech demos than footage taken from actualHalo Infinitematches. Hopefully, future leaks will show how the new vehicles interact withHalo Infinite’s new vehicle damage systems.
Apparently, some changes have been made to these versions of the returning vehicles, including a return to the original Scorpion design after it was changed inHalo 5. The Wraith also appears to have been overhauled, giving it the ability to fight head-on as well as act as a mortar. It remains to be seen how many ofHalo’s best vehicleswill be making a return inHalo Infinite, but so far the new game appears to be making a lot of nods toward the series' previous installments.
It appears that fans are tentatively excited about thenewHalo Infinitevehicleleak, though many have reservations about specific details. Two Twitter users had comments about the Scorpion’s redesign, with one pleased about its return to form while the second missed theHalo 5design. Two other users both expressed a desire to see the bipedal walker vehicle Mantis, which wasn’t featured in the Twitter thread, appear in the game. Another complained that the main gun sound effects were kind of underwhelming, and two more got distracted by wondering if the vehicles contained health bars.
