Summary
A game likeOverwatch 2is ripe with potential for hilarious moments, and one fan illustrated this when they managed to sneak past the entire enemy team and push the payload while playing as Reinhardt. Usually, such a move is reserved fora sneakier hero like Sombra, but under the right circumstance, evenOverwatch’s lumbering, armor-clad hammer-swinger can become a master of stealth.
At their core,Overwatchand its sequel have always been objective-based games first and foremost, encouraging players in most modes to prioritize holding down moving and stationary points on the map above simply trying to take out the enemy team. However, it can be easy to get caught up in the moment-to-moment chaos and become more focused on racking up kills, losing sight of the big picture in the process. This isone of the biggest mistakes a lot ofOverwatch 2players make, and in the worst case it can cost them the match if the objective is close to being captured.

It’s not very often that an enemy team’s tunnel vision is so narrow that a hero as big as Reinhardt is able to sneak past, however. But that’s what happened for Reddit user NotDeletedMoto, who shared a clip of them backcapping onOverwatch 2’s Monte Carlo map. Said clip shows Reinhardt going through a tunnel flanking the path the payload is on. Right as they approach, the defending team moves away to attack their team, providing them with a perfect opportunity which they immediately seize.
With the other team too busy attacking, NotDeletedMoto is free to push the payload all the way to the map’s second checkpoint, before charging right past their opponents once they realize what’s going on and rush back. Fellow players on Reddit had a good laugh at NotDeletedMoto pulling off a feat of stealth withone ofOverwatch 2’s tankiest heroes, while plenty of jokes were made at the expense of the enemy Widowmaker who managed to take out most of their team, seemingly unaware of the payload being taken behind them.
It’s been a busy time for tanks inOverwatch 2recently. This month has seen Blizzard reveal the game’s newest tank hero, Mauga, and give players a chance to try him out ahead of his official debut in Season 8 next month. Meanwhile, Roadhog has finally received his long-awaited rework that overhauls his primary fire and self-healing ability, while also giving him a brand new ability called Pig Pen. What’s more, Blizzard has confirmed thatfurther buffs to Roadhog’s new kit are already in the works.
