The Unique Unicorn is a side quest issued by an old lady named Betty Bugbrooke inHogwarts Legacy. She is anxious about the condition of her Unicorn friend, Hazel, as the beautiful creature was severely injured upon encountering a group of Wolves. Betty is very worried as the poachers are collecting rare Beasts and abusing poor creatures to sell rare materials.
Thanks to The Elf, The Nab-Sack, and The Loom quest, players are able to rescue Beasts inHogwarts Legacy. The Unique Unicorn quest provides the chance of rescuing Hazel and providing a safe home for the Unicorn inside the Vivarium.

The Unique Unicorn Quest In Hogwarts Legacy
To trigger The Unique Unicornquest inHogwarts Legacy, the Protagonist must complete the Niamh Fitzgerald’s Trial main quest. After a while, Betty Bugbrooke can be found in Hogsmeade Square. The old woman is standing in the street calling for someone’s attention to ask for help. Upon speaking with her, Betty tells players how Hazel was injured and is running wild somewhere in the Forbidden Forest.
To complete The Unique Unicorn quest, it’s essential to approach Hazel’s location and capture her using the Nab-Sack. After Betty vaguely describes where the Unicorn was last seen, it’s possible touse any mount inHogwarts Legacyto reach the marked location. Upon getting closer, players have to search inside the purple circle’s border on the mini-map to find Hazel. Eventually,the Beast can be found in the Unicorn Den northwest of the Upper Hogsfield Floo Flame.
How To Catch Hazel The Unicorn In Hogwarts Legacy
To catchUnicorn inHogwarts Legacy, it’s important that one of the freezing spells are available. This means that players need to complete Professor Kogawa’s Assignments to either learn Glacius or Arresto Momentum. Sadly, Unicorns are extremely shy and cautious, making the Disillusionment spell a bit useless around them.
Upon finding Hazel the Unicorn,approach the Beast slowly and immediately cast a freezing spellto hinder its movement. Next, use the Nab-Sack and complete all the capture meters to finally catch Hazel. The Unique Unicorn quest concludes once players return to Betty and tell her the good news.
What To Do With Hazel
As requested by Betty Bugbrooke, players are to keep Hazel and take care of the Unicorn inside one of the Vivariums. It’s possible to feed and brush the shiny coat of the Beast to obtain magical materials andupgrade gear inHogwarts Legacyusing the Enchanted Loom in the Room of Requirement.
Hazel is a female Unicorn which means breeding is an option as long as players find a male Unicorn. Purchasing the Breeding Pen from Tomes and Scrolls is necessary to complete the process and enjoy the Unicorn offspring inside the Vivarium.
