As an Abundance unit inHonkai: Star Rail, it’s surprising to see Gallagher being able to buff, debuff, and deal an acceptable amount of damage. With his ability to keep his healing flowing, Gallagher canfit in most teams inHonkai: Star Rail.
However, he’s a perfect pair with Acheron since he can debuff enemies twice each time he uses Ultimate. He does that by using his Ult to debuff, then gets his turn back immediately and uses his Basic ATK to debuff again. 4Gallagher + Acheron + Kafka + Black Swan
Gallagher may be anAbundance character inHonkai: Star Rail, but he can apply debuffs on the enemies with his Ultimate and enhanced Basic Attack, which means he can help Acheron regain her Ultimate faster.
Since Acheron benefits from having two Nihility characters in the team (before her E2) that can apply debuffs, then Kafka and Black Swan are excellent pairs for Acheron. Black Swan comes with DoT and debuffs that can help Acheron deal larger damage, while Kafka is a pure DoT character who acts as another team DPS. With Gallagher’s constant use of Basic Attack that will trigger Kafka’s follow-up attack, everyone in this team synergizes greatly to help Acheron stack her Ultimate quickly.
3Gallagher + Acheron + Pela + Guinaifen
For Gallagher to best synergize with Acheron, he must use Light Cones that boost Energy Regeneration Rate such as Post-Op Conversation, Echoes of the Coffin, and Night of Fright, along with using an Energy Regeneration Link Rope. This is because he relies on his Ultimate to apply his debuff. TheEnergy requirement also applies to Pelasince she applies debuff with her Ultimate. Fortunately, she has a low Energy requirement, making it easy for her to use her Ult often.
Other than that, everyone in Acheron’s team must also be speedy, especially the debuffers. Players should aim for at least 140, with 160 SPD ideal to ensure faster Acheron stacks.
2Gallagher + Ruan Mei + Xueyi + Pela
Having both Gallagher and Xueyi benefiting from the beautiful buffRuan Mei gives is the idea of this team comp inHonkai: Star Rail, while Pela is here thanks to her versatile AoE DEF reduction. Even if this team is not fully reliant on Crit and ATK%, Pela’s AoE DEF break still increases their damage when Gallagher and Xueyi break enemies’ Toughness.
Gallagher provides a steady amount of healing throughout the combat and participates with Ruan Mei in helping Xueyi break Toughness faster. Xueyi, in this team comp, acts as a hyper carry and deals so much damage while breaking everyone’s Toughness with the help of all the buffs granted to her.
1Gallagher + Ruan Mei + Jingliu + Blade
Jingliu benefits from having a team with a high Max HP capacity. She consumes that HP and turns it into fuel for her next attack. That makes Blade a perfect partner for her, since he massively benefits from Jingliu consuming his HP on every attack while he grants her a massive amount of HP to consume.
While both Jingliu and Blade have a great partnership, Gallagher and Ruan Mei can operate together to help the team in many ways. As a starter, both Supports don’t need ATK, allowing players to maximize their Max HP for Jingliu. After that, as aHarmony unit inHonkai: Star Rail, Ruan Mei improves everyone’s performance with her buffs, especially by increasing their Break Effect. As for Gallagher, he will do what Abundance does best by constantly healing. The only exception is that he will also be helping with damage by breaking enemies’ Toughness regularly.
