However, there are some genuinely great spells hiding among the mass of mid-tier incantations and sorceries,like the Golden Arcs incantation.
Another great spell isImpenetrable Thorns, something that’s almost broken in its current state. With the right equipment, players can use it to bleed out any boss they come across.

Sorcery of those who abandoned the practice of incantations after devout faith rewarded them with only despair. The image of the twisted Scadutree is an edict: Denounce their ways. Do them harm. For they have abandoned us.
InElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree,Impenetrable Thorns is a new Sorcery of the Scadutree Sorceries spell category. The spell inflicts Hemorrhage on the enemy that it hits andcauses bleed build-up. The buildup scales with Arcane if the player uses Arcane scaling staffs. The spell can be cast repeated with little to no delay, though it deals a bit of HP damage to the player casting it as well.
The Impenetrable Thorns Sorcerycosts 15 FP to castand cannot be charged for greater potency. To equip Impenetrable Thorns, youmust have 1 Memory Slotavailable. This spell counts as a Thorn sorcery for theAlberich’s Set.
Summons the Scadutree’s impenetrable thorns from the ground. This sorcery can be used repeatedly.

Where To Find Impenetrable Thorns Location
Toget the Impenetrable Thorns inShadow of the Erdtree, you go through most of Shadow Keep and reachthe room of Messmer the Impaler. From the Dark Chamber Entrance site of grace, turn back and go across the bridge you came from.
Then, take a turn to the right and go down the set of stairs. From the edge of the platform you’re currently on, look down and jump when you see a bat on a lower platform. After killing the bat, turn to the wall and grab the Impenetrable Thorns sorcery from the corpse on the ground.
