There are around two hundred quests inStarfieldonceall of the main, faction, and side questshave been taken into account. With this in mind, it’s understandable that some players may wish to skip through certain quests just to speed up the process, as completing all of them can take an awfully long time. Conversely, they may want to replay a particularly enjoyable mission or reset a quest if and when the game decides to bug out.

Thankfully, all of these things can be achieved using console commands, although, to do so, players will first need to get their hands on a list of all of theStarfieldquest IDs. By using these quest IDs with the appropriate console commands, they’ll be able to start, complete, and reset quests, or jump to a specific stage of them. For convenience, quests have been broken up by type, which should make finding the right one a lot easier.

How to Use Starfield Quest IDs

Players can useStarfieldquest IDs to start or reset a quest, jump to a specific stage of a quest, or just straight-up complete it. To do so, they’ll need to useStarfield’s console commands, which means pressing either the Tilde (~) or the Grave (') key to bring up the console. After that, players will just need to type in one of the commands listed below and then hit the enter key. Those hoping to jump to a specific stage of a quest will first need to use the sqo command together with the quest ID to get a list of stage numbers; after which, they can use the setstage command.

Effect

startquest [Quest ID]

Players can use the startquest command to start a specific quest.

resetquest [Quest ID]

Players can use the resetquest command to reset a specific quest.

completequest [Quest ID]

Players can use the completequest command to complete a specific quest.

sqo [Quest ID]

Players can use the sqo command to get a list of stage numbers for a specific quest.

setstage [Quest ID] [Stage Number]

Players can use the setstage command to jump to a specific stage of a quest.

Players should replace “[Quest ID]” with the actual quest ID of the quest they want to edit, while also being sure to remove the square brackets. When using the setstage command, there should be a space between the quest ID and the stage number, just as spaces should separate each console command and the quest ID.
