So popular isHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamityin fact that it is getting even more content. With the advent of its first Expansion Pass, there will be even more content coming for the game. It’s a somewhat pricey expansion, but it seems that for a limited time, players might be able to get it it scot-free… though it’s a bit dubious.

There seems to be a curious exploit on the Nintendo eShop at the moment which allows players to download the Expansion Pass for free. According to accounts from Nintendo Life, downloading the free purchase bonus for the Expansion Pass (second option in the eShop) also nets the Expansion Pass itself. The purchase bonus is very small, just a costume and weapon, as opposed to thenew fighters coming inAge of Calamity’s DLC wave 1, along with other features. It is currently unknown how intentional this is or how long it will last, but as of this article, it is possible and available.

The world of Hyrule created inBreath of the Wildand expanded on inAge of Calamityis widely beloved by players. While players have traditionally been excited to see what the nextLegend of Zeldabrings in terms of a new world and new ways to interact with it, at the moment, all players want is more of the same. Players are looking forward to the DLC, and they may be able to get it with this method. Keeping it, however, is uncertain, so prepare for some disappointment.
