Now having an extraordinary talent like Coogler and his production banner, Proximity Media, joining the creative team,Ironheartis shaping up to be one of the MCU’s most intriguing projects. Like many of the recent MCU projects (particularly in phase four), it’s great to see Kevin Feige and the rest of the Marvel Studios team continuing to choose indie filmmakers to offer fresh perspectives on many of these established characters. And judging from their filmographies, it appears that fans are in forsomething truly special when it comes toIronheart.
Riri Williams debuted in 2016’sInvincible Iron ManNo. 7, as she took over for Tony Stark as Iron Man at certain points in the comics. But since Stark tragically met his demise fighting Thanos inAvengers: Endgame,Williams will likely play an even more prominent role in the MCU as one of the young Avengers, or perhaps as the new Iron Man. Until the series gets further in its production, fans can expect more story details to surface online in the coming months. What is known, however, is that Williams has already been confirmed to appear in Coogler’sBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever, which is set to release in November this year.TheIronheartseries also stars Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, and Harper Anthony.
